“Holly has consistently gone above and beyond to support her department, the MIAT faculty in all programs, and the students and graduates of MIAT,” said Jennifer Paugh, Campus President at MIAT College of Technology. “Holly regularly volunteers for new tasks and is a resource to many of the students and faculty regardless of their program, and has mentored a significant portion of MIAT’s instructors. She is a hard worker who always strives to improve her program and our school as a whole. She was voted by majority vote of all instructors for this recognition.”
Arnold joined MIAT as a lab assistant in 2011, and later became an instructor in 2015. In 2022, MIAT named Arnold the Program Director for Robotics and Automation Technology and continues to teach classes.
“I’m honored to be named “Instructor of the Year,” but want to take this opportunity to recognize the hard work and dedication put in by all of my colleagues,” said Arnold. “The majority of us came to UTI after many years in the industry, with the goal of passing our knowledge and expertise on to our students. We work to educate, motivate and inspire them every day in order to set them up for a rewarding, lifelong career when they graduate.”
The “Instructor of the Year” winner at all 16 UTI and MIAT campuses nationwide was announced at their respective campus on May 5. UTI industry partner Snap-On is also helping to recognize them by sponsoring a feature wall at each campus that includes a photo of the “Instructor of the Year.”
