Benfield joined UTI as a power powerformance and drivability instructor in 2016.
“I’m honored to be named “Instructor of the Year,” but want to take this opportunity to recognize the hard work and dedication put in by all of my colleagues,” said Benfield. “The majority of us came to UTI after many years in the industry, with the goal of passing our knowledge and expertise on to our students. We work to educate, motivate and inspire them everyday in order to set them up for a rewarding, lifelong career when they graduate.”
The “Instructor of the Year” winner at all 16 UTI and MIAT campuses nationwide was announced at their respective campus on May 5. UTI industry partner Snap-On is also helping to recognize them by sponsoring a feature wall at each campus that includes a photo of the “Instructor of the Year.”
