Universal Technical Institute (UTI), the transportation, skilled trades, electrical, and energy education division of Universal Technical Institute, Inc., today announced that Tod Gibbs has been named Campus President of the new UTI-Atlanta campus, scheduled to open in 2026 pending all regulatory approvals.

The scholarships – named in honor of the late Brienne Davis, a Universal Technical Institute graduate who went on to become a NASCAR Technical Inspector before dying tragically in 2008 – are awarded annually in $10,000 increments, and have helped 50 women with similar ambitions receive the training needed to achieve their goals.

In celebration of National Dental Hygiene Month, Concorde Career Institute–Tampa hosted “Making Tampa Smile.” This event offered no-cost dental services for the local community. Dental hygiene student Lora Larkin spoke on giving back to the community and the importance of oral care for kids. PDS Health and Liberty Dental were sponsors.
