Feb. 25, 2011 - Nissan Program Now Offered at UTI-Boston

Feb. 25, 2011 - On Monday, February 14, the UTI-Norwood campus celebrated Valentine’s Day by showing their love of Nissan. After months of planning and construction, the campus started its first class for the Nissan Advanced Technician Training (NATT) program, the fifth program in the UTI system and the first of its kind in the northeast. To commemorate the special day, students were offered sugary treats and “I Love Nissan” bumper stickers. During the day, representatives from Nissan toured the facility and welcomed students to the NATT program.

Nissan and Infiniti Dealers Invited to March 16 Open House

To educate Nissan and Infiniti dealers in the greater New England area about the program and benefits of hiring NATT graduates, the UTI-Norwood campus team is hosting an Open House on Wednesday, March 16. Dealers are encouraged to tour the campus, meet the instructors and see students in action as they train for careers in the transportation industry. The schedule is as follows:

9:15 AM—12:15 PM NATT Employer Open Lab

Instructors present to discuss curriculum, credentials, and to answer questions from Nissan | Infiniti Employers.

12:30 PM—2:00 PM Lunch

Lunch will be served for visitors. Employers who participate will also receive a packet, including information about UTI’s Employer Website, Employer’s Phoneline, Mouse Pad, Bumper Sticker, and informational materials about the NATT Training.
