April 5, 2013 - Mustang and Grave Digger Monster Jam Truck turn heads at UTI-Rancho Cucamonga

Revving engines are a common audible element on the Universal Technical Institute (UTI) - Rancho Cucamonga campus, but on one particular morning, the noise that thundered throughout the school came from the legendary Grave Digger Monster Jam Truck and Tjin Edition Mustang on site for the Advance Auto Parts Monster Jam Open House.

“By showcasing Grave Digger Monster Jam Truck and the Tjin Mustang, along with our state-of-the-industry training facility, we shared a fun day with more than 200 community members,” said UTI-Rancho Cucamonga Campus President Sean Carlson. “We look forward to sponsoring more events like this in the future.”

With more than 200 in attendance to tour the campus, learn about UTI’s programs, and see famed Grave Digger Monster Jam Truck driver, Pablo Huffaker, the campus was buzzing with activity. Attendees enjoyed vertical wall climbs and a sparkplug challenge, along with music and refreshments.

The day culminated in an exciting presentation to Ricky Kwok, winner of the Tjin Mustang Sweepstakes, who received his keys and actually got to drive away in his new car! The crowd cheered, as Kwok was all smiles in his new ride.

This year, UTI’s sweepstakes includes the Tjin Edition Toyota Tacoma. To learn how to enter, and engage with UTI online, visit the UTI Facebook page, check out the UTI-Rancho Cucamonga Facebook page, and follow UTI on Twitter.
