Universal Technical Institute’s (UTI) Chad Freed, senior vice president, business development and general counsel, was recently recognized as a leader in his field with honors from the Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC) – Arizona Chapter. Freed was awarded the Public Company of the Year Award (small company) at the Arizona Corporate Counsel Awards held in Phoenix. The ACC Awards recognize attorneys for their outstanding work and contributions to the success of Arizona businesses.
Freed earned his undergraduate degree from Penn State University and his law degree from Tulane University. He has worked at UTI for nine years, and in that time, become a subject matter expert on federal and state regulations, as well as a trusted business counselor to senior level management.
Freed joins nine other 2013 ACC Award winners from a variety of companies ranging from healthcare to aerospace.
