July 20, 2012 - UTI-Dallas graduate making strides in his career
Romeo Umana |
Romeo Umana, a graduate of Lakeview Centennial High School in Garland, Texas and the Universal Technical Institute (UTI) campus in Dallas, is already making great strides in his career after graduating less than a year ago. Romeo started school at UTI in August 2010. Immediately upon graduation in October 2011, he accepted a job offer at Toyota of Dallas as a service advisor. Eight months later, he has already been promoted to assistant service manager and is on his way to a fulfilling career in the automotive industry.
“We are so proud of Romeo and the accomplishments he’s made in such a short time,” said Sandra Muskopf, UTI-Dallas campus president. “This is why Universal Technical Institute is the industry’s choice when it comes to training professional entry-level technicians. The real-world experience we provide allows them to assimilate quickly into jobs in the industry.”
Since 1965, Universal Technical Institute has graduated more than 160,000 students for work in the automotive, collision repair and refinish, diesel, marine and motorcycle industries. The Dallas campus opened in summer 2010.
