June 28, 2012 - Newly Elected Irving City Councilman Tours Universal Technical Institute Dallas Campus

One of Irving’s newly elected city councilman, Brad LaMorgese, spent a recent morning learning more about Universal Technical Institute (UTI) and the training it provides North Texans for jobs in the automotive and diesel industry.

Councilman LaMorgese joined UTI Dallas Campus President Sandra Muskopf and UTI Dallas Director of Auto/Diesel Programs Jesus Miranda for a tour of the campus including stops in the auto, diesel and hybrid labs. During the visit, Councilman LaMorgese and campus leadership discussed the key to a bright future – a solid education.

“The youth of today as well as career changers face many challenges as they prepare to enter an increasingly competitive marketplace,” said UTI Dallas Campus President Sandra Muskopf. “At Universal Technical Institute, we provide students with the skills necessary to start on a successful career path and utilize our employer relationships to help them find jobs.”
