May 24, 2012 - Texas car enthusiasts turn out in droves for TunerLife 2012

This past weekend, more than 1,000 car enthusiasts descended upon the Universal Technical Institute campus in Irving for the TunerLife 2012 Tour. This free event showcased more than 300 trick and custom vehicles including tuners like a bright orange Lotus Elise and TJIN Edition 2012 Mustang and muscle cars from around the area including Camaros and Chargers along with nationally know SEMA cars from Neil Tjin and Aaron Vaccar.

TunerLife 2012 was a great way for area car enthusiasts to get up close and personal with some of the hottest, most sophisticated cars out there,” said Sandra Muskopf, Universal Technical Institute-Dallas Campus President. “We are proud to have served as host to such a unique event.”

Many area car clubs including RKC, Scion Mafia, Texas Imports Today, Fitted Agency and Baker Tuning were on hand for the Sunday afternoon event.

In addition to cars on display, event participants enjoyed RC drifting, music and food. Pre-registered guests received a free car care kit and a four-month subscription to Performance Auto & Sound Magazine. Everyone who attended had the opportunity to enter to win the Tjin Edition 2012 Ford Mustang in a drawing to be held this Fall.
