March 8, 2012 - UTI Grad Stars in Reality Show

March 8, 2012 - A new television program, All Girls Garage, starring Universal Technical Institute's (UTI) BMW STEP graduate Sarah “Bogi” Lateiner premiered Saturday, March 3, on Velocity by Discovery Channel.

Bogi isn’t just a technician, she has taken her training and turned it into a successful business. After completing BMW STEP in 2002, Bogi began her career at Hassel BMW in Freeport NY, later moving out west to BMW of North Scottsdale as a BMW Master Technician. In 2008 she opened her own repair shop, 180 Degree Automotive in Phoenix and is now building her third location.

Bogi is a tireless advocate for the opportunities in the automotive technical industry, especially for women. She frequently speaks at schools promoting technical education programs and has appeared nationally on CBS Assignment America.
